An independent reference for the Rusty Lake series — what order to play the 19 games in, how the timeline fits together, and what the full catalogue is. Not an official Rusty Lake resource and not connected to the studio.
Where the facts come from
Titles are cross-checked against the official Rusty Lake site; release years, protagonists, platforms and Metacritic scores come from Wikipedia’s Cube Escape article. Details specific to the newest entry come from its store listings — Steam’s public app data, Apple’s iTunes lookup and the Google Play listing.
Nothing here is copied from another guide site, and nothing is inferred from a fan reconstruction and then presented as fact.
Unresolved things stay unresolved
Most Rusty Lake timelines online are reconstructions, and the reconstructions disagree with each other. Where two independent sources do not agree — or where only one source exists — the page says so in a “not confirmed” box instead of filling the gap with a guess. There are several of those right now, and they shrink as each link is verified.
No affiliate links
There is no affiliate programme on this site, no referral tags on the store links, and nothing paid for placement. A guide that tells you what to buy while being funded by the shop selling it is not a guide, so we do not run one.
What is deliberately not here
No walkthroughs, no puzzle solutions, no achievement lists for Servant of the Lake. Those are on servantofthelake.org, run by the same person. The two sites are kept strictly separate by topic — this one covers the series, that one covers solving the newest game — so neither is a thin copy of the other.
The domain
The address is servantofthelake.net but the subject is the whole series. Servant of the Lake is the nineteenth game and has its own section here; the site grew outward from it rather than being renamed.
