The Soundtrack

Servant of the Lake is scored by Dutch composer Victor Butzelaar. What is confirmed about the music, and why no separate release appears to exist yet.

Last updated 2026-08-14

The score is by Victor Butzelaar, a Dutch composer, credited on the official Steam listing. The game carries full voice acting across 23 languages, so the audio work here is larger than the series norm.

That is the confirmed part. The rest of this page is mostly about what we could not confirm, which is more useful than a guess.

There is no soundtrack DLC on Steam

The Steam listing shows the base game only — no soundtrack edition, no bundle with the music attached. If Rusty Lake adds one it will appear on the same store page.

It is not on Apple Music

A search of Apple's catalogue for the composer and the title returns nothing. So if you are looking to add it to a library the way you would a film score, it is not there as of 14 August 2026.

The Bandcamp question

At least one fan site has embedded a Bandcamp player next to its coverage of this game, which implies a release on that platform. We could not confirm an official album page for Servant of the Lake specifically, so this page does not link one.

Rusty Lake has put previous soundtracks on Bandcamp, so a release there is plausible. Plausible is not confirmed, and a wrong link on a page like this sends people to somebody else's upload.

If you find the official album, send the link and it goes up with credit.

Listening to it in the meantime

The trailers on the Steam page carry the score. Beyond that, the game itself — the free Lite build is a no-cost way to hear the opening.

Why this page is short

Because there are only three verified facts: the composer's name, the presence of full voice acting in 23 languages, and the absence of a separate release anywhere we could check. Padding it with track names we have not seen would make it longer and worse.

Not confirmed

We could not verify the following against a source we trust, so it is left out rather than guessed at.

  • Whether the soundtrack is sold separately. It is not on Apple Music, and a Bandcamp release is implied by other fan sites but we could not confirm an official album page.
  • The track list and total running time.
