Desktop or mobile?
The game is a point-and-click adventure, so both work. The differences that actually matter:
Steam gives you achievements and cloud saves. All 49 achievements are Steam-only; the mobile builds have their own progress tracking but no Steam achievement list. Steam Cloud carries your save between your own PCs.
Mobile is cheaper and travels. $4.99 against $7.99 at list price, and the touch controls suit a game that is entirely tapping on things.
One puzzle is harder on touch. The morning exercise sequence is set by dragging, and short drags register as taps. It is an input quirk rather than a design problem, but it is the single most common mobile complaint.
Nothing is shared between platforms. Three separate purchases, three separate saves. Family Sharing is a Steam feature and does not reach mobile.

Where it is not
Despite what search suggestions imply, there is no PS5 version, no Switch version, no Xbox version and no Linux build. There is also no browser version — this is not a game you can play unblocked at school or in a work tab. Anything claiming otherwise is either a different game or a fake.

Servant of the Lake on Android

Servant of the Lake is $4.99 on the App Store, needs iOS 15 or newer and 755 MB free. The free Lite build is 263 MB. Runs on both iPhone and iPad.
Servant of the Lake Lite
Lite is the free mobile build of Servant of the Lake on iOS and Android. What it includes, where it stops, and why it has 100,000 installs and a 4.8 rating.
System Requirements
Servant of the Lake needs Windows 7 with a 2.4GHz dual core and 1GB RAM, macOS Big Sur, iOS 15 or Android 7.1. Storage is the real constraint here.
Consoles — The Short Answer
