What Steam gives you that mobile does not

The 49 achievements. These are the reason to buy the desktop version if you care about completion — about half are hidden and tied to doing chores deliberately badly. The mobile builds track progress but have no Steam achievement list.

Steam Cloud. Your save follows you between your own machines.

Family Sharing. Within Steam only — it does not reach the App Store or Google Play.

The macOS build is included

One purchase covers Windows and macOS. Minimum is macOS Big Sur 10.16 with 1 GB RAM, which is a very low bar for a 2D hand-drawn game.

There is no Linux build. Valve's data lists Windows and macOS only.

Steam Deck

Valve has not published a compatibility rating for this game yet. It is a mouse-driven point-and-click, so the shape of the thing suggests it should work through the trackpad — but we are not going to turn that into a claim. When a rating appears it will be on the store page.

The demo

A free Steam demo has been up since October 2025 and covers the opening — the courtyard, the kitchen, Aldous's bedroom. Same content as the mobile Lite build. If you have played one there is nothing new in the other.

Is Steam the cheapest?

Not at list price. Mobile is $4.99 against Steam's $7.99, so normally Steam is the expensive option. The launch discount narrows it to a dollar until 27 August. Full breakdown on the price page.

Buy on Steam if you want achievements, a bigger screen and cloud saves. Buy on mobile if you want it cheapest.
