iPhone and iPad both work
It is a point-and-click adventure with no reflex demands, and the artwork is drawn at a scale that suits a larger screen. If you have both, the iPad is the nicer experience — several puzzles involve small objects, and more screen means less pinch-zooming.
The 755 MB matters more than the requirements
iOS 15 covers everything from the iPhone 6s onward, so the OS requirement rules almost nobody out. The download size is the practical constraint: 755 MB for the full game against 263 MB for Lite. Clear the space before you start, not halfway through.
Price against the other stores
$4.99 matches Android and undercuts Steam's $7.99 list. Steam is $5.99 until 27 August, so the gap is temporarily one dollar. See the full comparison.
Buying on iOS does not give you the Steam or Android versions, and there are no Steam achievements on mobile.
Try it free first
Lite is free on the App Store and covers the opening of the game — the courtyard, the kitchen and Aldous's bedroom. Same puzzles, no ads, no in-app purchases, no timer. It is a genuine slice rather than a demo that nags you.
Progress does not carry into the paid app; you replay the opening.
The touch caveat
The morning exercise puzzle is set by dragging and short drags register as taps — slow the gesture down and release past the target. Most reported mobile difficulty with this game traces back to that one interaction.
