Both are published by Rusty Lake — if the developer name on the listing says anything else, it is not the game.

Android is the cheaper platform

$4.99 against Steam's $7.99 list. Steam's launch discount brings it to $5.99 until 27 August, so for the next two weeks the difference is a dollar; after that it is three. Full table on the price page.

You do not get Steam achievements on Android. All 49 are a Steam feature.

About the APK question

Searches for an APK are common enough to be worth answering directly: the Android release is a paid app on Google Play, so any site offering the full game as a free APK download is distributing a cracked or repackaged build.

Beyond the obvious, repackaged Android games are a well-established vector for adware and credential theft, and a $4.99 game is a poor reason to install one.

If you want to play for free and stay official, install Lite — same opening, free, from Rusty Lake, no ads.

Requirements in practice

Android 7.1 is a low bar — anything from roughly 2017 onward clears it. The game is 2D and hand-drawn with no demanding effects, so a mid-range phone runs it comfortably.

The touch caveat

One puzzle is harder on a phone than on a desktop: the morning exercise sequence is set by dragging, and a short drag registers as a tap instead. Slow the movement down and finish the drag past the target before releasing. It is the most common mobile complaint and it is input, not design.
